According to “The Regulation Amending Regulation for Application of Turkish Citizenship Law” issued in Official Journal on 19.09.2018 with number 30450, purchase of a property in the amount of 250,000.- USD will be sufficient for foreigners for being granted a Turkish citizenship. The minimum limit for purchase amount which was 1,000,000.- USD before was lowered to 250,000.- USD as such.
Whether the value declared at land registry is above 250,000 USD will be determined by appraisal values to be issued by Real Estate Appraisal Companies certified by Capital Market Board (SPK) and Real Estate Appraisal Companies listed by Banking Regulation and Supervision Board (BDDK).
